π MORNING WATCH | DAY 26
FOLLOW JESUS 365: YEAR OF FAITH IN ACTION
π THEME: Those Seen as “Small” or “Less Important” Are Close to Godβs Heart
β¨ FOCUS SCRIPTURE | Mark 10:13-16 (NIV)
“People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’ And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”
π QUOTE FROM ELLEN G WHITE
“The children are not to be passed by with a slight notice as being too young to be benefited by divine things. They are the ones whom Christ has bidden us welcome to His heart of love. In them may be developed precious traits of character that will make them a blessing to the world. The little ones are not to be accounted as a light or trifling burden. They are gifts from God, and are to be treated as such.”
