FOLLOW JESUS 365: YEAR OF FAITH IN ACTION

✨ THEME: God Loves You Unconditionally, No Matter Your Past or Present Circumstances

(Romans 5:8)

🙏 OPENING PRAYER

Heavenly Father, as we gather in Your presence this morning, we thank You for the gift of a new day and for the truth of Your boundless love. We come before You just as we are—carrying our past mistakes, present struggles, and future worries. Open our hearts to fully receive and believe that we are loved beyond measure, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

📜 SCRIPTURE FOCUS

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
– Romans 5:8, New International Version (NIV)

📚 ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURE REFERENCES

  2. 1 John 4:10 – “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
  3. Isaiah 43:25 – “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”

đź’¬ ELLEN G. WHITE QUOTATION

“God’s love is not dependent upon what man is. It is not influenced by man’s character or conduct. It is a love that flows out from the very nature of God, unchanging and eternal. Though we have sinned, though we have fallen short of His glory, His love remains the same, drawing us to Himself with cords of tender mercy.”

đź’ˇ KEY REFLECTION

It’s easy to let our past failures or current hardships make us feel unworthy of love. We might think we need to “fix” ourselves first before approaching God—but Romans 5:8 makes it clear that His love was proven when we were at our farthest from Him. His affection for you doesn’t fluctuate based on what you’ve done or where you are in life. Whether you’re feeling successful or struggling, forgiven or guilty, God sees you as His beloved child, cherished beyond words. This unconditional love is not just a comfort—it’s the foundation for living a life rooted in faith and hope.

đź’Ş FAITH IN ACTION CHALLENGE FOR TODAY

  • 📝 Write down Romans 5:8 and place it where you’ll see it often (phone wallpaper, mirror, desk) to remind yourself of God’s love throughout the day.
  • ❤️ Reach out to one person who may be feeling unworthy or discouraged, and share with them that God loves them unconditionally.
  • 🙏 Take 5 minutes to quietly reflect on one area of your life where you’ve felt unlovable, and ask God to help you fully receive His love for you in that space.

🙏 PRAYER OF COMMITMENT

Loving Father, we commit ourselves to embracing the truth of Your unconditional love today and always. Help us to let go of shame and self-doubt, and to walk confidently in the knowledge that we are Yours. May we live as witnesses of Your love, showing grace and compassion to others just as You have shown to us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
