đź“– MORNING WATCH DAY 16
✨ FOLLOW JESUS 365: YEAR OF FAITH IN ACTION
THEME: You Are a Chosen Treasure, Regardless of Your Achievements or Abilities
KEY SCRIPTURE
1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
đź’ REFLECTION
At the heart of our identity in Christ is the truth that our worth is NOT earned—it is given. We are God’s special treasure, selected not because of what we’ve done or what we can do, but because of who He is. Our achievements may fade, our abilities may change, but our status as His chosen people remains unshakable.
📝 ELLEN G. WHITE QUOTATION
“God does not look at the outward appearance, at talents or accomplishments, to estimate the value of an individual. He looks at the heart. He knows its aspirations, its desires, its struggles. He estimates men and women as they are in His sight, not as they are estimated by the world.”

đź’ˇ PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS
- 🔹 Shift Your Measuring Stick
Stop defining your worth by job titles, grades, or social metrics. Affirm daily: “I am God’s chosen treasure, loved unconditionally.” - 🔹 See Others as Treasures Too
Look beyond achievements or limitations—recognize everyone as God’s special possession. Extend grace to all you meet. - 🔹 Live as a Royal Priesthood
You don’t need special talents to share God’s goodness. Living with love and integrity is a powerful witness. - 🔹 Release Performance Pressure
When you feel inadequate, rest in the truth that He chose you before the world began. His love is your security.
