Reflection

As we close this 40-day journey of prayer and thanksgiving, Paul’s request to prepare a guest room reminds us that our gratitude to God calls us to be ready for others. Prayer opens our hearts to see needs around us, while thanksgiving fuels our desire to create space for fellowship, ministry, and connection. Paul’s anticipation of future partnership challenges us to cultivate “prepared hospitality” – rooted in the prayers we’ve lifted and the blessings we’ve received this season.

• Open Your Home with Gratitude: Offer your space for meals, fellowship, or temporary stays – seeing it as a gift to share.

• Anticipate Needs Through Prayer: Continue praying for ways to serve, trusting that God will guide us to those who need support.

• Give Thanks for Connections: Take time to thank God for the people in your life and for opportunities to serve that have come from this 40-day season.
