❤️ THEME HIGHLIGHT ❤️
“Jesus Sees the Heart”
Just as Jesus looked past Matthew’s “tax collector” label to see the faithful heart within, God sees beyond every outward status or judgment to know and value the true you.
📖 KEY SCRIPTURE
“As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. ‘Follow me,’ he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.”
Matthew 9:9 (NIV)
💬 ELLEN G WHITE QUOTATION
“Jesus looked upon men not as they appeared in their own character or in the estimation of their fellow men, but as they might become through His transforming grace. He saw in Matthew capabilities for good. He saw that this man, despised and rejected by the people, could be a faithful disciple, and through him many souls might be led to the light.”
The Desire of Ages, p. 256

- Read the story of Matthew (Matthew 9:9-13) and note how Jesus welcomed him without judgment
- Reach out to someone who may feel overlooked or judged – let them know you see their worth
