DAY 16: Expecting Good Things

Scripture: Philemon 1:21-22 (NIV) – “Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask. Prepare a guest room for me, because I hope to be restored to you in answer to your prayers.”

In Philemon 1:21-22, Paul expresses confidence in Philemon’s obedience and anticipates that Philemon will exceed his expectations. Paul also shares his hope of being restored to them, indicating an expectation of a positive outcome through their prayers. This scripture encourages us to maintain a positive outlook and to trust that God will work in our lives, often beyond what we can imagine. Expecting good things involves faith, hope, and an understanding that God’s blessings are abundant and available.
